Keno Strategy to Bring You Closer to the Money
We all think that Keno, a game based purely on luck cannot possibly require any strategy. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The chances of winning can be increased significantly with a little Keno strategy.
It is true that the winning numbers chosen in a game of Keno are selected at random and hence there is no relationship between those numbers drawn in the past and those that will be drawn in the future. The first Keno strategy that every player should keep in mind is that every single one of the numbers in a Keno ticket has exactly the same chance as the other Keno numbers.
Many Keno players follow a set of their own tried and tested Keno strategy which they believe helps in winning the game. One of such Keno strategy is to bet on numbers that they haven't seen come out in the winning list for a while. The thinking behind this Keno strategy is that in the long run, each number should come out equally, and thus those that haven't come out in a while will definitely be a winning number soon.
A contrary Keno strategy to what we just discussed is betting on the numbers that we have already seen in the winning list. Keno players admit that this contrary to the idea of probability, but it can be argued that because the numbers in this game are selected at random, we really never know what will come out.
Another Keno strategy is to select numbers that are successive. When we say pick numbers that are successive as a Keno strategy, we mean numbers that are right after the other. Examples are betting on 11 and 12, 67 and 68, and so forth. There's a disclaimer here though that there is no guaranty that it will work but as we've all noticed, the winning numbers in Keno usually come out in pairs.
A Keno strategy well known to many is to keep playing with the same numbers for several rounds. This Keno strategy is similar to the lotto strategy that the player has to take care of the numbers they've chosen.
Whatever Keno strategy that one decides to pursue in playing Keno, whether it's taking care of the numbers that one has decided to bet on or trying out their luck in numbers that have come out before, the player should keep in mind that the game of Keno is based on random numbers. None of the Keno strategies are guaranteed to work in this game where luck plays an important role.
